Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Craftsman Pacific Construction ("Craftsman Pacific," "we," "us") collects through craftsmanpacific.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We're a licensed general contractor in San Diego (CSLB #1138639).
What we collect
What you tell us. When you request a quote, we collect what you enter in the form:
- your name, phone number and email address
- your project location
- what kind of project it is, why you're doing it, your timeline and budget range
- how you'd like us to contact you, and how you heard about us
What we collect automatically.
- How you found us. The first page you landed on, the website that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example, the code on one of our door hangers). Your browser stores this until you submit a quote request, and it's saved with your request.
- Spam protection. We keep a scrambled, one-way version of your IP address so we can limit repeated submissions. We don't store your actual IP address with your request.
- Standard technical logs. Our hosting provider keeps routine server logs, which can include IP addresses, to run and secure the site.
Cookies. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. The only cookie we set is a sign-in cookie for our own staff.
How we use it
- To respond to your request, prepare an estimate, and communicate with you about your project.
- To prevent spam and abuse.
- To understand which of our outreach efforts are working.
We contact you by the method you choose, about your inquiry and your project. If we ever want to send you anything else, we'll ask first.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.
We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and reply to you:
- our website hosting and database provider
- our email delivery service
- our email provider
We also share it when the law requires it.
Google Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, and Google receives your IP address and browser details. Google's handling of that information is covered by Google's privacy policy. No other company collects information about your activity on our site for advertising or for tracking you across other websites.
Do Not Track
We don't track visitors across other websites, so we don't change anything in response to a browser's "Do Not Track" signal.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests as long as we need them to respond to you, do the work, keep business records, and meet legal requirements.
Your choices
To see the information we have about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it, email office@craftsmanpacific.com or call (619) 798-5452. We'll respond within a reasonable time. We may keep information we're required to keep by law.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or email system is completely secure.
Children
This site isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date. If the change is significant, we'll note it at the top of this page.
